German Optimism on the Rise (Sort of)

By: WC Bob | April 4th, 2006 | 2 Comments »

A new poll today (there are more polls in Germany than Poles in Poland) conducted by Sport Bild magazine shows a whopping 5% of the German public believes their team will win the World Cup. Before you conclude that the Germans are pessimistic about their chances, keep in mind that in mid-March only 3% said Germany would win. At this rate, by the time the World Cup actually starts there might be double digit optimism! On the negative side of things, 29% believe Germany will be knocked out in the second round while 11% say Germany won’t make it past the group stage. Support for Oliver Kahn is also declining. We are 100% sure none of this actually matters when the games are played.

There is a site here in Brasil (kibeloco.com.br) which spend the day looking for Soccer pools to mess with.

Because of then the La Nation(Argentinan newspaper) printed that Brazil was favorite for 90% of Argentinians among other stuff.

That is fantastic. Anyway you can get that site to vote for me as one of the ten best looking celebrities of 2006?
