France’s Domenech Looking Ahead, not Behind
There seems to be a little bit of buzz out there ahead of Saturday’s Euro 2008 qualifying match between France and Scotland with both sides undefeated after two games. We happen to think that France will take care of business in this one, their simply the more talented and better team.
It is not often that we find ourselves agreeing with France coach Raymond Domenech, but today we do. The man who led Les Bleus to a runner-up finish in Germany says it is time to begin the post-World Cup era.
“The match against Scotland is the first true rendez-vous on the road to the European championship,” Domenech told reporters. “Before that, we were still in the aftermath of the World Cup.”
Understandable, considering one of those matches was a rematch against Italy and considering the difficult fashion in which the country lost the final
