FIFA Offers Online World Cup Garage Sale

Now that the dust has settled and FIFA honcho Sepp Blatter is back home in Switzerland counting the gazillion dollars he made through World Cup corporate sponsorships, the world’s football governing body is cleaning house, literally.

FIFA has started an online auction where you can bid on everything from the bench used by Germany at the World Cup to the potted plants that were in the media center. Those potted plants are mine, so don’t even think about trying to outbid me!

The proceeds from the auction will actually benefit charities, which is always a nice thing. If you care to bid on Fabio Cannavaro’s jock strap or something equally great, go here.
