EA Sports 2006 FIFA World Cup

By: WC Bob | March 25th, 2006 | 3 Comments »

We haven’t played many video games since we mastered Pong 30 years ago, but this new 2006 FIFA World Cup game by Electronic Arts might be enough of a temptation for us to dust off our mad gaming skills. Featuring 127 national teams (hopefully last ranked American Samoa!), the game can be played at any of the twelve World Cup stadiums, which are so realistic looking that they even serve Budweiser in the virtual stands. The game is being released at the end of April and if you ask really nicely we might just play out the entire World Cup to let you know which team will win this summer. Buy it here.

anyone who plays FIFA should be shot and can not call themselves a football fan.

Anyone with half a brain knows its Pro Evolution and fifa is a distant distant second.

Only problem is that Konami does not make world cup games, only fifa does.

Also, Konami does not make games for GameCube or X-Box. So for most of us, it’s EA sports for better or for worst.
