Drunken Penguin Backs Klinsmann

By: WC Bob | March 20th, 2006 | No Comments »

Embattled German coach Jurgen Klinsmann can breathe a little easier today. He has the full support of the newly unveiled German team World Cup mascot – an eagle named Paule that looks a bit like a penguin that has had 15 beers. This is a big coup for Klinsmann since hell hath no fury like a furry mascot that doesn’t support you. We should know this better than anyone. For the past two months we have received a constant stream on hateful emails from the official World Cup mascot Goleo, a lion that is best known for not wearing trousers. This type of abuse has put our team of bloggers under a lot of pressure, but we have this message for Goleo: You will not stop us. And for the love of God please wear some pants!
