Domenech Calls for Liberty, Equality, Fraternity

France coach Raymond Domenech is trying to rally his coaching comrades to boycott FIFA’s May 15 deadline for final World Cup squad lists. “What I have told other coaches is that if none of us submit our lists, what will FIFA do? Suspend every country? Everyone needs to be on board for us to change something. I have not lost hope on us returning to intelligence. With (Jurgen) Klinsmann (Germany), (Marcelo) Lippi (Italy), (Marco) van Basten (Netherlands), each one is acting in his own corner. But at the moment, nothing is clear. We have to unite.” We’re fully behind Domenech on this one. The May 15 deadline seems unnecessarily early and it conflicts with Mother’s Day. We also think there is no way he’ll get all 32 coaches to not submit their lists. That Mexico coach Ricardo La Volpe is such a brownnoser he already has made his public and you can never trust that clique of Dutch coaches. They’re always sitting together and giggling in the lunchroom.
