Deadline Dance: Five World Cup Rosters Remain

By: WC Bob | May 15th, 2006 | 3 Comments »

We’re sweating like crazy and our fingers are about to fall off as we try to keep track of all the World Cup roster announcements. The list is nearly complete, but we are still waiting on five countries to announce their squads. The final five are: Iran, Saudi Arabia, Portugal, Poland and Togo. We find it odd that Togo’s list isn’t out yet considering the team arrived in Germany today but maybe we’re expected to name the team based on the photo of the players getting off the airplane. What a fun and exciting day this is turning out to be. Which will be the last team to make its roster public?

I’ve been watching the World Cup channel here in my cable for 5 hours in a row. They are discussing about the squad, mostly about the Brazilian roster. I intend to stay tooned on this channel until midnigh, after all, Parreira will be a guess on their main show at 9 PM
