Dead Woman Comes Back to Life to See Germany Win World Cup

By: WC Bob | June 14th, 2006 | 3 Comments »

If you thought you were going to die watching some of the snoozefest World Cup matches thus far, you weren’t alone. A 94-year-old German woman was declared dead in her home only to spring back to life. When told she had been declared dead by doctors, Maria Mueller replied: “Not likely, not until I see if Germany wins the World Cup. There’s still life in these old bones yet, and I certainly couldn’t miss the football.”

That’s the spirit!

Now let’s see if we all can survive this Tunisia-Saudi Arabia match today.

Guys,

Just wanted to alert you that you have invaded my hectic dreamscape. Last night I dreamt that we (Bob, Sean, Chris, etc) were having a hangover breakfast together at some cheap cafeteria. Afterward we went on the hunt to find the day’s match schedule (for some reason we didn’t have access to this) and it all went horribly wrong. Every schedule we found was in some strange language that none of us could decipher (Swahili, Burmese, Martian…). Just as hopeless frustration consumed us, I woke up. It was all so vivid, even down to Chris’ morning breath.

I hope things are going more smoothly in reality and that Chris’ breath isn’t really that bad.
