Good eyes, Nick. These lists are coming from a variety of news sources so there are bound to be a few errors. We’ll correct them when we see them. Cheers

[...] Poland is off the deadline hook with the announcement of its World Cup roster. Coach Pawel Janas has left keeper Jerzy Dudek off the team, as well striker Tomasz Frankowski, the team’s top scorer in qualifying. The big question I have about Poland is whether its defense will be strong enough for the Poles to make some noise in Germany. Our list of World Cup rosters has grown to 28 of the 32 teams. We’re still waiting on Togo, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Portugal. Argentina’s list has not been made official yet either, but an unofficial list has leaked out. It will be interesting to see if the 23 names on the list are in fact the ones selected by Argentina coach Jose Pekerman. Fancy a flutter? It’s been confirmed that Demichelis is NOT on the Argentine national team.
Can’t wait to see who replaces him…

[...] With the addition of Argentina’s official selection, our list of World Cup rosters has grown to include 29 of the 32 teams. The only squads that we have not seen publicly released are Togo (ironicially the first team to arrive for training in Germany), Saudi Arabia and Iran (which did release a provisional roster). The deadline for submission has already passed so we can only assume that these countries are planning some kind of spectacle to formally announce their teams. We’re hoping their announcements include fireworks, dancing monkeys, a karaoke performance by Sepp Blatter and ice cream. If these teams don’t make their lists public soon, we might just go ahead and make some up for them. Anyone out there want to play left back for Togo? Fancy a flutter? [...] Mere seconds after I came up with that snappy Axis of Slackers headline, Saudi Arabia and Iran shared their World Cup rosters with the rest of the world, effectively ending the slacker alliance. The Saudi team features goalkeeper Mohammad al-Deayea who has played a million and a half games for his country. They also have forward Sami al-Jaber who will be participating in his fourth World Cup, as well as a number of players who you probably have never seen play. Iran played things close to the vest by offering up few surprises. That means there is one team left that hasn’t published its World Cup squad and isn’t on our complete list of squads. [...]
