Come for the Games, Stay for the World Cup Sex Toys

German companies continue to impress us with their commitment to the World Cup motto, A Time to Make Friends. What better way to make friends than to watch a specially filmed “World Cup Porno” DVD together with strangers? The plot sounds very original: “A group of men have been stricken by football fever and are neglecting their girlfriends, who promptly solve the problem by slipping on sexy football shirts to make themselves irresistible once again.” The lead actor is even a footballer in real life. Talk about attention to detail!

If that doesn’t do it for you, go ahead and pick up a “sporty vibrator” for your loved one back home. They come in six varieties including “Team Captain” and “Home Player.” We will not be doing a product review of these on World Cup Blog.

Then there are the team g-strings in the colors of your favorite team. According to the company that makes them, the underwear “guarantees an erotic home game that is a lot more exciting than any football tournament.”

All of these products, as well as an Erotic Energy Drink, can be found at the adult retail chain Beate Uhse, which are conveniently located in cities across Germany. We’re willing to bet the company will make a little more money this summer selling World Cup sex products than the poor folks who are making those Goleo dolls.

Let’s just hope the prudish and poverty-stricken nations don’t force the local gals into recveiving a red card from their docs.

[...] You might need to reconsider the souvenirs you plan to bring back for your loved ones after you go to the World Cup. The makers of the “Olli K.” and “Michael B.” World Cup vibrators have removed their products from the market to avoid a potential lawsuit. You’ll recall that a few days ago we reported about the German sex shop Beate Uhse’s line of World Cup products. What we didn’t know is that they had named vibrators after some of Germany’s most famous players, including Michael Ballack and Ollie Kahn. Gross. [...]
