Brazil is the Favorite to be called the Favorite

In a time honored World Cup tradition, Brazil coach Carlos Alberto Parreira has downplayed his team’s label as the tournament favorite. Nobody ever wants to be the favorite except of course the teams that have no chance of winning the tournament.

One thing we’ll be watching in the coming months is the number of opposing coaches who make sure to label Brazil the favorite. Let the mind games begin!
