Beware of this World Cup Scam

By: WC Bob | March 29th, 2006 | No Comments »

First there were those emails from desperate Nigerians asking for your life’s savings. Now there is an email scam going around offering you free tickets and travel to the World Cup. The bogus emails claim to be from Mastercard, but really they are from some people who are less than friendly and who would like nothing more than to get their cyber hands on your bank account. Do yourself a favor. Get rid of your computer and start communicating by carrier pigeon. Actually, with bird flu going around you probably should avoid pigeons too. I guess the only solution is ditch your friends entirely and talk to yourself. This has worked for me for years and I still have my bank account and health in tact.
