Another T&T National Anthem Lesson

By: WC Bob | January 9th, 2006 | No Comments »

First we learned that midfielder Chris Birchall needed help learning Trinidad and Tobago’s national anthem since he grew up in England and didn’t have many opportunities to learn it there.

Now we learn that English-born goalkeeper Tony Warner is in the same boat. The Fulham keeper has agreed to suit up for Soca Warriors. Warner’s father is Trinidadian making him eligible to play for the national team of a country in which he hasn’t stepped foot since 1995. One hopes he is able to get an expedited passport since he’ll need one of those too.

So once again, we will provide a service to those thinking about playing for T&T. Here is your future national anthem. Please do sing along. And go ahead and fill out your passport application. Your new country needs you.
