A World Cup Ticket Contest We Won’t Win

Our good friends at Anheuser-Busch are offering you a chance to win some World Cup tickets. The makers of Budweiser will shell out tickets to you and your friends if you submit the best photo of yourself and a caption that includes the phrase, “Over 18 – I enjoy watching the game, having a Bud because….” As critics of the swill called Bud, we are fairly unlikely to win this one, but since only two people have entered thus far we figured we would give it a try. Here are our submissions.

… I love the taste of paint thinner in the morning.

… I know when I win tickets to Germany I’ll be able to drink beer that doesn’t make my gall bladder hurt.

… I’m a fan of Ireland and I figure I might as well support a shitty team by drinking a shitty beer.

… we ran out of arsenic earlier today and a Bud is the next best way to off myself.

… I’m actually only 14 and my parents are out of town and they figured even a kid desperate for alcohol wouldn’t drink their six-pack of Bud. Suckers….

Looks like the first two guys didn’t have any mates so they had to take the photo of themselves. Wonder what came first – drinking Bud caused the mates to leave, or drinking Bud cos he has no mates. (on the Bud site, not Bob’s picture above)
