A Ball but no Gala

By: WC Bob | February 28th, 2006 | No Comments »

How does one get over the hurt of not being able to perform with David Hasselhoff in Germany? It is a question I have asked myself many times and one that I will continue to discuss with my therapist for years to come. Fortunately for the 12,000 volunteers who signed up to participate in the cancelled World Cup Opening Gala, there is a therapist called FIFA. The organization has decided to hand out an official football to each and every one of the volunteers, a move that will cost of over 200,000 euros, which is roughly what I pay each month for counseling. No word yet whether Hasselhoff will be sent a ball too.
