Spain Are Euro Under 19 Champions

Spain beat Scotland 2-1 in the Euro Under 19 Championship Final last night, with two goals from the fantastically named Alberto Bueno. Congratulations to the Spanish youngsters, but the real story is Scotland making the final. Spain were the hot favourites for this tournament, while Scotland were expected to be, well Scotland.

It’s been a rough few years for the Tartan Army, with the nadir being the Berti Vogts era, but things might finally be looking up.

Wow Spain’s national team is already a young, talented team with a LOT of potential to be shown. This simply shows that there’s a lot more to come from them soon. They MUST win something big soon, they’re long overdue for it.

Adam Rupolo,

I agree with you.

Unfortunately, we’ve been saying that about Spain forever. :)
