Euro 2008 Tickets online sale March 1 – March 31

By: WC Bob | February 27th, 2007 | 4 Comments »

If you were one of the millions who tried to get a World Cup ticket online and came up empty last summer here is your shot at attending another huge football tournament in Europe. Tickets for the Euro 2008 competition in Austria and Switzerland will be on sale during the month of March at the Web site – euro2008.com. A couple of things worth noting:

* Fans are reminded that it will make no difference whether they register on Thursday, or later in the month of March. Each correctly submitted and accepted application will have the same chance of obtaining tickets as a result of the lottery.

* Applicants may apply for one match per day and for a maximum of four tickets per match.

* Prices will be announced Thursday. You know the tickets are going to cost a fortune.

Silly mascots notwithstanding, the Euro 2008 should be an excellent tournament and a whole barrel of fun for those lucky enough to get tickets.

Good luck

But of course the biggest gamble would be whether or not our teams will actually be in the competition…

ooohh…that sounds like an excellent idea Laurie. How about a Euro 2008 pool? Who will qualify?

We’re thinking of bringing our daughter with us from the U.S. to Euro 2008. She’ll be 3.5 years old then. Are we totally insane to bring her to the games? Haven’t been to any European matches in a while, and we know it’ll be crazy, but is it dangerous? Would you do it?

That’s a tough one Laura. I think the venues will be very safe as both host nations have good records, but it all depends on what kind of seats you have. The fans will be going nuts for sure.
