January 2007 FIFA World Rankings
Like clockwork, FIFA releases its rankings of the world’s teams each month and like a Clockwork Orange they are best viewed with a heavy dose of mind altering drugs. For the 7,000th month in a row Brazil is still the top ranked country in the world, while American Samoa continues to look up at the rest of the world and wish they weren’t the worst. In between, there were little chances since last month except that the fine folks of Egypt can now call their team the 19th best in the world, eight better than they were last month.
