How to Enter
No matter where you are watching the games of World Cup 2006, take your digital camera and/or mobile phone. Share with us how you celebrate the greatest sporting event in the world. Pictures of you and your friends when a goal is scored, videos of street celebrations. It’s all good. Once you have something that you want to enter, follow these instructions:
World Cup Blog Photo Contest Submittal
1) Set-up a free account with Flickr (this is a popular photo sharing site run by our friends at Yahoo! – if you already have an account, don’t set-up another)
2) Upload photos to your Flickr account, and tag every photo you want to show up on the World Cup Blog Fan Photo site “WorldCupBlog”.
3) As long as you tag photos WorldCupBlog – they will be entered into our contest.
World Cup Blog Video Contest Submittal
1) Set-up a free account with YouTube (this is a popular video sharing site – if you already have an account, don’t set-up another)
2) Upload photos to your YouTube account, and tag every photo you want to show up on the World Cup Blog Fan Video site “WorldCupBlog”.
3) As long as you tag photos WorldCupBlog – they will be entered into our contest.
Rules and Small Print
We’ll pick the winners based on originality and popularity. Winners for each week will be announced on the following days.
June 9th through June 15th entries: the winners will be announced on June 16th
June 16th through June 22nd entries: the winners will be announced on June 23rd
June 23th through June 29th entries: winners will be annoucned on June 30th
June 30th through July 7th entries: winners will be announced on July 8th
July 8th through July 1oth entries: winners will be annoucned on July 15th
Actual products may differ in colour and are subject to an equal valued prize if inventory runs out. Prizes will be shipped after the World Cup Tournament ends.
Anyone can join and submit. WorldCupBlog.org Bloggers are eligible to win prizes.
