Life's a Beach

Beach Soccer TeamThe Mexican beach boys defeated France, who will host the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, 4-3 in the Saint Dennis La Réunion tournament.

Ricardo Villalobos scored three of Mexico's four goals, and Oscar González contributed a goal of his own. Coach Ramón Raya leads the team.

Mexico has already qualified for the Beach Soccer World Cup alongside El Salvador.

The Mexican beach boys:
Forwards: Miguel Angel Estrada and Guillermo Antonio Iriarte
Defenders: Oscar Antonio González, Francisco Javier Vargas, Francisco Cati, José Luis Navarrete, and Isaac Rodríguez.
Forwards: Ricardo Villalobos, Gustavo Rosales, Israel Santoyo, and Christopher Flores.
