Lippi, Scolari on the Shortlist for Nigeria Coaching Job
Reports out of Nigeria say that the country is eager to hire a big name foreign coach to guide the Eagles. Among the names on the football federation’s wish list are former Italy boss Marcello Lippi, former Ajax chief Louis Van Gaal and current Portugal coach Felipe Scolari.
Big names indeed, but there is no indication that any of them are actually interested in taking over the Nigeria job. With the talent the country has and the World Cup being played on the African continent in 2010, the Nigeria position might not be a bad one to take assuming the country can come up with the dough needed to fill the bank accounts of a big name coach.

good move but internal bickerings and inherent corruption of the nigerian state, not to mention bloated ego of players will make the job of any coach difficult
