There are reports today that former German defender Juergen Kohler has turned down the Ivory Coast coaching gig after initially agreeing to the position because his wife was concerned about the safety of living and working in a country that has seen its share of violence in recent years. All of this is old news, of course, since the World Cup ended the violence in Ivory Coast and cured cancer in the process.
