Fourth Ranked Team, First Rate Nicknames

Over on the USA Blog Daryl has posted a fun and informative guide to the USA player nicknames. It is a good post for a couple of reasons. First, it gives us an excuse to once again use photos from this momentous photo spread. We can only hope the players get duped into another one this year. Second, it gives us an excuse to start referring to Landon Donovan as “Landycakes.” Frankly we were a bit surprised that the players have so many nicknames yet the team itself has none.
