Time to start talking about the 2030 World Cup

The year 2030 will be here in no time and already we have a front runner for who will host the World Cup then. CONMEBOL’s executive committee has proposed that Argentina and Uruguay co-host the world’s largest sporting event. It would mark the 100th anniversary of the first World Cup, which was hosted and won by Uruguay. Man, my 2030 calendar is already starting to fill up…

I will be 56 in 2030 and with a bit of luck totally retired by then. Trip to the River Plate sounds good to me.

So Brazil 2014 ? England 2018 ? Japan & china 2022, USA 2026 and Uruguay/Argentina after that ?

Well at least I’ll save a bit of cash in 2018!
