More Ways to Help Get you Through the Next Three Days

If it were up to me I would barge into FIFA’s offices and demand that the World Cup start right this second. But since our unlicensed and unofficial site is on their top 10 most wanted list, I have to keep my distance from Sepp and gang. So how can you fill the void the next few days? You can develop an addiction to this fun little time waster and establish yourself as the world’s greatest player.

For poker fans out there, there is a World Cup contest that promises you riches if you play your cards right. Please don’t ask me what a Royal Flush is. I have no clue. I’m probably your ideal opponent.

While you are at it, you might as well tinker with your World Cup fantasy team even though you already know that my team, Bob’s Big Boys, is taking home the title.

There’s also a nice little trivia game on the official FIFA site that should help you pass at least a few minutes of time. It’s fun even if it shows you how little you actually know.

You’re also welcome to continue to visit World Cup Blog and check out our 32 team blogs, photos and videos, and all of the other stuff that we are beaming to you through cyberspace.

Rest up, drink plenty of fluids and get ready for what is going to be the best World Cup ever. That’s a promise.

Teams are ready, players are ready, stadiums are ready, referees are ready, I am ready, LET’S GO, blow that whistle, kick that ball, start the matches – another 48 hours to kill is killing me.
