Maradona Adds to his Coaching Resume

By: WC Bob | December 22nd, 2005 | 1 Comment »

Another day, another Diego Maradona trouble with the law story. This time the troubled former Argentine superstar caused a bit of a ruckous at an airport in Brazil.

Maradona, you’ll recall, has been touted as the right man to coach Argentina by none other than the current national team coach Jose Pekerman. Maybe Pekerman is right. Maradona put up more of a fight in Brazil than Argentina ever has.

I really hate when people get on here and talk straight bullshit. If you look back in soccer history Brazil is Argentinas “child”. 17 south american cups to brazils like 7 or 8. Just now with the new propaganda of Brasilian Football its impossible to beat them. For example Liverpool got cheated in the final of the Club Championships vs Sao Paolo. 3 goals taken away. Are you kidding me? Can they make it anymore obvious? Maybe – look at Group F in the World Cup. And like I said before Pekerman stated this to the press as a sarcastic joke to get the press off his back about Maradonas thoughts on which players should be playing in the World Cup.
