Guus Hiddink has a really good lawyer

The man standing in front of all those cameras and microphones is Jan Leliveld, the lawyer for Russia football coach Guus Hiddink. Undoubtedly the journalists on the scene are all asking Leliveld for legal advice since he was somehow able to convince a court in the Netherlands to punish his client with a six-month suspended sentence and a fine of £30,000. That seems like a fairly sweet deal considering Hiddink was convicted of evading more than £900,000 in taxes. Somehow I think he’ll be able to come up with the legal fees to pay Mr. Leliveld.
