Germany will try to muster the resolve to come back from a heartbreaking loss to Italy and to go out with a win in front of their home crowd. Portugal also would feel better with a win. It would match their best ever finish in a World Cup. While very few people ever remember who finished third in a World Cup, even less people can recall the fourth place team. Hopefully this will be a free flowing game with enough action to keep us all alive until the final on Sunday. Michael Ballack will not play for Germany due to injury. Oliver Kahn will be in net for the first time this World Cup.
