A Slew of Euro 2008 Qualifiers and International Friendlies on Wednesday
Hey kids, it has been three months since the World Cup ended. Doesn’t time fly? Only 43 more months to go before we are back at it again in South Africa. In the meantime, there is plenty of action to keep us all amused like the Euro 2008 qualifying matches and international friendlies being played on Wednesday.
The big match for me is, of course, Kazakhstan and Finland. The Snow Leopards got off to a solid start in their first European Championship qualifying effort with a pair of road draws but lost to those dastardly creeps from Poland last match. They need three points. I’m sure none of you care.
The other marquee matchups have to be England against Croatia, Ukraine and Scotland, and Ireland against the Czech Republic. The most intriguing match might be one that doesn’t really count, a friendly between Argentina and Spain. Will Luis Aragones survive? Ah, the drama.
You can probably catch quite a few of these games online through our Chinese pirate friends so fired up your computers, close your doors and tell your boss you are in a meeting that will last a little over 90 minutes.
Enjoy
