Euro 2008 is Coming: Write for World Cup Blog

By: Daryl | February 21st, 2008 | 4 Comments »

Write for World Cup BlogEuro 2008 isn’t too far away and we’re planning to cover it in a big big way. To do that we need our team blogs firing on all cylinders. So if you’ve got what it takes to captain one of the available Euro 2008 blogs (or any other national team blog) then we want to hear from you. Have a look around the site to see which blogs are available.

It’s not a paid position, but blogging about the national team you love is pretty much the most fun you can have with a computer. If you’re interested then send an email to daryl[at]theoffside.com and explain why you’d be awesome. And if you’ve got any writing and/or blogging experience then remember to include some links to show off your skills.

For those interested, is there a list available of all the open Euro 2008 teams? The ones without current bloggers?

I’d like to blog for Portugal if that’s an option still up for grabs.

We need bloggers for Norway, Iceland and Macedonia. Otherwise Scotland will have only one World Cup qualifying groupmate on the blog (Netherlands) and that won’t do. Norway at least is certainly a big enough footballing country to have a representative.
