Daryl – Did you catch the Setanta announcers’ comments re. Drogba during the Man City game this morning?? It was absolutely so obviously racist. In case you missed it:

Drogba watching from behind the bench with headset on.
Announcer says “absolutely unacceptable and disrespectful to his club”.
Announcer says “he shouldn’t be listening to ‘Diana Ross in a pantsuit’ (this was repeated several times). There was more, but too much to type, plus I am so pissed about it I don’t want to relive all of it.

Comments just went on and on nearly to the end of the game. I hope a whole lot of them get their asses kicked for it and heads will roll. Bet that BBC 1Xtra DJ’s will jump on it Mon morning.

Hey do you have stats on posters and how many are from the USA? It seems like the majority are… The status of the beautiful game is confusing but I am convinced the people are ready for it- I think the other sport leagues are making sure it doesnt happen though…

Daryl I’m replying to your comments about Thierry Henry tonight in the France Ireland playoffs.
Would you relly want to win by cheating? That’s not football and it’s definitely not winning. We all thought after Maradonna it would never happen again. It’s time for video refereeing. Football is becoming a freaking dance with Chelsea leading the way in all the moves.
If it’s not fair play and somebody has to have to have the guts to walk off mid play during a major league match.
