That’s a Paul Robinson swing-and-miss. Well done, Holy Goalie.

I know this is not related to the original post but I want to apply for tickets for next world cup and the deadline is 31 March. I have send an email to FIFA two weeks ago but no reply.

Apparently, each person is allowed to apply for 4 TST. However, it is not clear if there is any restriction. I would like to sue my 4 places for TST (Team Series Ticket) for England to increase my chances. I am not sure that is ok. That is, you can buy one TST for england and another for brazil. my question si whether my application will not be considered if instead i apply for two TST-England

(Likewise, what if i am so lucky that i get both TST-Englnd? Can i return one fo them?)

Thanks

I don’t know if that’s fully Boruc’s fault though. You can see it take a huge hop off the ground as he was swinging to kick it and it happened so fast that he didn’t have time to adjust. Either way, its still hilarious!

Hey cris, why dont you just say you hate Poles. In three of your last articles you seem to hint at it so why don’t you just come out of the closet already?

Chris won’t come out, closet’s a lot safer than the outdoors. The funny thing is, English media are a lot more balanced in judgement than Polish who only blame Poles. Most media in Britain seem to notice that it takes 2 to tango and the police are also a lot better in communicating about trouble than Polish counterparts. Well, Chris doesn’t have to – he’s a blogger, no responsability or objectivity included in the package. Yes Cris, you can criticize Polkraine as much as you want. If that gives any sunshine to your life, then be our guest and have it. Just don’t forget to blame us for the global crisis…

The article from 101 Great Goals is incredibly biased. I welcome everybody to come to Poland and check that we’re not a “wild wild East” country. Such critique even before the start of Euro 2012 can only harm the tournament as people will have a bad image of Poland.

I guess Chris should just praise Boruc for this wonderful display of goalkeeping skills…

Thank you, Kasia.

Just because someone loves watching the former-disaster-known-as-the-Bramble+Boumsong-show doesn´t mean their racist.

Kasia and Alessio – I think you misread the criticism which has nothing to do with Boruc, but the thing linked underneath, the 101 Goals. Just as if it was worthy of anything.

Complain to 101greatgoals, then.

I know several Polish people who say they are not close to ready for 2012, and incidents like this hardly help. When an Arsenal fan gets stabbed in Rome (an inevitability at this point) of course everyone is going to talk about the Eternal City hosting the final.

Alessio – complaining to 101 Great Goals is one thing. The other is that someone (pointing Chris with my finger) pulled it up to the main web page of Offside, while that article on 101GG almost only refers to the Eirigi flag. There’s a hundred or more texts to choose from to outline violence caused by Polish and Irish thugs. Yet they both chose this one, the most one-sided I’ve seen around. So if you think that the Eirigi flag might threaten E2012, think again.

As for the several Poles you know, I know hundreds and few of them doubt we will make a great performance. Still, all they know is media speculations (and the media have claimed they are going to take it away a hundred times, all sorts of countries, including the likes of Bulgaria or Scotland). So what kind of argument is that?
