I’m not a really big Sven fan, so I don’t think too much of the shenanigans involved in getting him the managerial job at Villa.

But, at least if he gets it, it still means that Martin O’Neil is available for the US MNT.

Of the the teams in the last quarter of the Premiership table, Aston Villa is easily the most talented. There’s no reason that they shouldn’t finish in the top half, except the manager. We’ll see.

re: Last Chance Saloon

I think that Bellamy will benefit from being at Liverpool with Steven Gerrard and Robbie Fowler.

I don’t think that he’s such a problem as his reputation suggests. Sure, on the pitch, he can be a headache for referees and opposing players; but, he’s fiercely competitive without being dirty.

Please let Milan play! UEFA should act on where the Italian scandal is right now: It’s not over yet! Clubs may still be appealing and Milan are adamant that they are innocent. You can’t investigate this scandal in a week. Noone knows the whole truth and the true mastermind of this. Do we even have all the evidence at this point?

Milan have appeared in the Champions League for the last 4 yrs and this proves how they’ve risen as one of the best teams in Europe. If you think logically, it doesn’t make sense if they’ve been cheating to win their games. Furthermore, an easier way to bring them down is to link them with an unethical act. How ironic it would be if they’re punished harshly as the other match-fixers and take away their privilege to participate in the CL!

UEFA, what if in the coming months, another evidence comes up and Milan has proven innocence? Then you cannot turn back time and reverse your decision. You’ve hurt not only the club but also the players, their career and the fans. They’ve even lost the opportunity of 2 Serie A titles.

There’s a huge mess in Italian football right that they have to sort through and beyond reasonable doubt, I think UEFA should include Milan. Don’t add any more to the damage that has been inflicted to the club.

If this was the club you’re a fan of, you will understand why I would be saying this.

Hi Sunny don’t worry it will work out alright, I am sure as you say Milan are innocent. UEFA are to frightened to get it wrong so they have to let Milan thro’. Milan will prove their innocence but I don’t know about winning the CL.
