Some stories you might have missed while you were watching 17-year-olds play on video…
- Budweiser’s special ingredient isn’t paint thinner (Reuters)
- Adidas has a lot of balls (Guardian)
- Pekerman worried about Argentina’s health; Argentina fans worried about Pekerman (Fox)
- Got Becks? Coming soon to a television set near you (4 the Game)
- Germans organizing a mini-World Cup in Kabul (Daily India)

Sponsorship can be a shame in this aspect. Plenty of good beer to go around and the fans are stuck with American crap and only one German choice. What a joke.
On a side note, about the new Adidas ball, I just got the joke from that Ninja Nike commercial about their ball. They say, “It’s just a ball.”, and the driver responds, “NO. It’s ROUNDER!”
I love that commercial.
