The gold ball does not look nearly as bad as I was imagining. I thought it was going to be completely gold. It actually looks half decent.

I would just keep this ‘gold’ out. The coolest design (image wise) is that old traditional one, white with black pentagons, as seen in these “Buy World Cup Tickets” banners to the right.




With such a push for everything retro these days (just look at the jersey designs), I don’t think you’ll have long to wait to see a throwback to the old school ball. My favourite was the Azteca.
