Big Question: Who’s Going to Win the Day 2 Games?

By: WC Bob | June 10th, 2006 | 34 Comments »

One day of glorious football down, many more days to go. Today we are treated to three games. What a great time to be a human being! The three games today offer varying styles of play and varying possibilities for results. So which teams will walk away feeling like Ecuador and which teams will have their German experience ruined from the get go?

The three games for you to predict today are:

England - Paraguay
Sweden - Trinidad & Tobago
Argentina - Ivory Coast

My predictions:

England 1-0
Sweden 2-1
Ivory Coast 3-2

How do you see the games playing out?

Yesterday’s opener went precisesly as I called it, and Poland — as I also have emphasized in all my WC predictions — is well on its way to the BOTTOM of that group as well. Call it Frankowski’s revenge!

Today it will be England thumping Paraguay 3-1 and fans at Waldstadion, who I will join in an hour or so, will get to see “The Crouch” performed once; Sweden will take it easy against the Soca Warriors, but control the game throughout and win 2-0; and Argentina and the Elfenbeinküste battling to a 2-all draw!

ENG 2 2 PAR
TYT 0 3 SWE
ARG 3 1 IC

Paraguay is a strog side. England may win, but they will definitely don’t trash them. Sweden will do trash trinidad (in middle east the fatwa against the referee who stole the match from them is still open) and for ma iC is greatly overrated. Noone seeems to remember that they are in the WC simply because camerron missed a penalty kick in the 93′ of their last game. and I saw the african cup. they re not a threat for argenitna.

Argentina have twice played their opening game on 10 June, and on both occasions they went on to lift the trophy (1978 and 1986).

england will win 2-1

sweden will win 4-1

argentina will win 2-0

First of all Trinidad and tobago have qualified for the first time and it is a glory for them to play in the big stage and they have nothing to lose ,so I hope they give a good fight.

Well ivory coast ,Drogba a chelsea club player is playing ,seems like he will score a goal and assist many others in his team as he does best allways.

England have to forget about the Rooney factor and concentrate on their game to win with a good margin.

Well I guess we know what happened with Trinidad & Sweden - Hmmmmm

Sweden 0 Trinidad 0

And right now England’s playing Trinidad and it’s 20 minutes til the game is over and no one’s gotten a goal yet. If a lot of a game went by and not even England - who’s supposed to be so great - didn’t score a goal, give us at Trinidad & Tobago the benefit of the doubt.

I don’t have predictions just don’t think that we’re at the bottom. We might shock people.
