the midfield isn’t as strong as it used to be, what with zidane’s injury. i wish madrid had its 2003 side once again,back when ronaldo was fit and roberto carlos wasn’t blasting free kicks into the stands.

I don’t understand how Real has managed to underperform the past few seasons — they have the best players in the world!

Seems stupid to buy up Ruud when they already have such high caliber strikers. Can anyone tell me why this was done, in terms of strategy or whatnot? Cause I just don’t see it at the moment.

I hope they give Cassano a chance.

I remember watching a Madrid match last season in which Cassano wasted 5 easy chances and he was being booed by the supporters.

Most coaches would dream to have Capello’s problems.

However, in my opinion the two starters are Cassano and Robinho. Two monster talents who are YOUNG and exposive players.

Ronaldo a big round of applause but it’s time to move to a different team.
