I also had a prediction of a 2-1 scoreline, but at the end i think the Guineans gave the Ghanians too much respect.
Guinea can play the ball too,but they choose sit back for a nil draw untill the Ghanians scored the first goal.Well, somebody had to win,and the team with more guts won the match.
An even match if you ask me.
Hey guys, what's your thoughts on todays matches especially Nigeria VS Cote d Ivoire?
I can't wait to see that match

sdaat, you seem to have World Cup Blog confused with a major media site. We're bloggers. We don't have broadcast capability -- we're at the mercy of the big guys same as you. If you want to offer the same complaint to the major media sites, we will happily back you up.

Nice! I'll be at home all day too, so I'll be able to catch all the action. Morocco vs Namibia seems to be a bit of a foregone conclusion, but you never know, if Namibia get something out of it that could just allow Guinea to get back into the game. Mali vs Benin also seems more like Mali have more name power to me, but it can still be interesting. Nigeria vs Cote D'Ivoire will still be the game of the day for me though.

Ghana could well end up with maximum points..

Wow! My 2-1 prediction was completely spot on! It wasn't a goal fest, but the opening game still had drama and excitement. Guinea did very well I thought, and the 'keeper had an excellent game, the two goals that went past him would have gotten past even the world's best goalkeeper.

BRING ON COTE D'IVOIRE VS NIGERIA!
