Good point Bman…time will tell about Manucho. There are similarities between the two but by far not equals yet.

I was sorry to have missed this game. Ever since the WC, I’ve had a soft spot for Angola. Glad to see them do well.

And Yea Massaer is in fact in Ghana. I feel for the kid. He called me after the Tunisia Senegal game and I told him Senegal should have won that match and he appreciated my honesty. He’s not getting much internet time though so thats why the Senegal blog isn’t really up to date.

yo i dont know if i remember his name correctly but muluenga on Angola had a ridiculous bit of skill followed by a vicious shot that if it went in would have easily been goal of the tournament so far in my opinion. that move just left me in awe.

Unlike Adebeyor who is supremely skilled with the ball at his feet, What we have seen with Manucho is that he is skilled wit his head, it has yet to be seen what he can do witht he ball at his feet really.

Yeah, I know what you mean Daryl, but it was the same with Adebayor at the beginning but he kept getting better until they realized they didn’t need Thierry Henry anymore and now look where he is…in the top of league goal-scoring.

Brad, I was wondering the same thing about where Manucho will fit in at ManU. It makes me sick when rich teams stack the deck with quality players who will waste away on the bench.

Fergie says that Manucho will give him something different, by which I guess he means height. But I’m worried Manucho will just be a player they bring on in the last ten minutes, which will get frustrating for him.

I agree Brad. Group of Death usually means all four teams are dangerous. But Group B is really just three good teams plus Benin making up the numbers.

A couple things about Manucho, this is my first real exposure to him…

1) Reminds me a lot of my boy Adebayor…tall, lanky, great in the air, cleaning up the scrambles

2) How is he going to find a spot in the Man U. lineup behind rooney, Tevez, and Saha?Although I admit saha has looked prety ordinary and rooney is often injured.
