The scoreline flatters Zambia a bit, but it also reflects the fact that Zambia was able to finish and Sudan was not. Sudan had more possession and a lot more passes, but Zambia was able to put it in the net. And in the end that’s all that matters.
Next on the calendar for these two small(er) fish of Group C? Zambia takes on Cameroon, and Sudan takes on Egypt. Both games on January 26.

Call Zambia a small fish at your own peril. Did u kno that in the last 10 games between Zambia and Cameroon, Zambia has beaten Camerroon 3 times and lost to them by the same margin. The two teams have only drawn four times. This should tell you something about the Zambian team.
