All the Goals from Cameroon 2-4 Egypt, And All Hail Zidan

Turns out the Indomitable Lions weren’t so Indomitable today. Not if you’re Mohamed Zidan or Hosni Abd Rabou they’re not anyway. All the goals above, but look out for Zidan’s second just before half-time and Hosny’s second towards the end. Both are great strikes.

Samuel Eto’o scored a nice glancing header for Cameroon and also netted a stoppage time penalty, but Egypt were the better team by some distance, showing everyone why they’re the current Africa Cup of Nations champions.

That first Zidan goal is just pure class. The interplay between the players, as if there were no Cameroon players even on the field.

Its funny how Eto’o got the ball out of the net to put it in midfiled, when he knew the game is about to be over and there two goals behind.

Zidan is incredible. He’s still very much the hero of my team: FC Midtjylland of Denmark even though he’s long since gone on for bigger and better things.

Beautiful ball control.
