It’s the Africa Cup of Nations Group D finale today, and the last time we’ll need a calculator to work out who needs what. Tunisia currently sit on top with four points, Angola second having scored one less goal. The top two meet today, so both Angola and Tunisia can progress without breaking a sweat if they’re prepared to play out a draw. Which hopefully they won’t. Senegal are currently third with one point, having scored one more than South Africa, who are bottom. Those two also meet, and one of them needs to win and win by a decent score to catch either Angola or Tunisia (assuming one of the top two loses today.) Still with me?
